Product Name:
Sodium butyrate is an organic compound with molecular formula C4H7O2Na and molecular weight of 110.0869. The appearance is white or white powder, has a special cheese rancidity like fat odor, has hygroscopicity. The density is 0.96 g/mL (25/4ºC), the melting point is 250~253ºC, and it is easily soluble in water and ethanol.
Main application:
1.Promote the proliferation and maturation of gastrointestinal cells. The digestive tract of young animals is imperfect, the villi and crypts of the small intestine are immature, and the digestive enzyme secretion is insufficient, resulting in poor nutrient absorption capacity of young animals. The results showed that sodium butyrate was an activator of intestinal villi proliferation and crypt deepening, and could enlarge intestinal absorption area.
2.Impact on animal production performance. Sodium butyrate can improve feed intake, feed reward and daily weight gain. Improve animal health. Reducing diarrhoea and mortality;
3.Promote non-specific immune system and specific immune system function;
4.The special smell has a strong feeding ability for young pigs, can be used as a feeding agent; It can be added to various feeds to improve daily gain, feed intake, feed conversion rate and economic benefit. [1]
5.Reduce the release of intracellular Ca2+. Inhibit histone deacetylase (HDAC) and induce cell apoptosis;
6.Promote intestinal mucosal development, repair mucosal epithelial cells, and activate lymphocytes;
7.Reduce diarrhea after weaning, overcome weaning stress, and improve the survival rate of piglets.
